On behalf of École Westhaven staff, I take this opportunity to welcome you and your children to our amazing school! Our greatest strengths lie in our instructional excellence, our warm and caring environment, and in the choices of world-class programming we offer for families and our young learners. All of these strengths come as a result of the high caliber of staff who are at the school.
A successful educational program and environment involves four important groups working together: students, parents, community members, and school staff. We hope you’ll take the time to meet get to know your child’s teacher and classroom. Moreover, we encourage you to become familiar with our support services and the school itself. We also invite you to join our School Council; it’s a great way to contribute to the school community and to stay informed.
Our triple-track school offers French Immersion, English, and Montessori programming to students in Kindergarten to Grade Five. We also offer Junior Kindergarten classes for 3 and 4-year-old children. In addition to the core subjects, we have Phys. Ed. and Music programs offered by specialist teachers and we provide other courses and clubs to our students.
Your child’s education and development (socially, emotionally, and physically) as a healthy, happy individual is our main concern. Our skilled personnel works with each child according to their individual needs. We will continue to work with you in order to serve the best interests of all students.
